Love sees no color event [PHOTOS]

On February 19th, Sigma Lambda Gamma hosted an event on interacial couples and marriages. The event, which featured guest speakers Dr. Innis and Dr. Zacchilli, covered a variety of topics related to interracial relationships including social stigmas, struggles faced by children of interracial relationships, and the research finding on the subject.

Dr. Phil Zimbardo will be answering questions 12pm (EST) tomorrow on Reddit.

If you have taken a psychology course since 1971 it’s likely you have heard about the Stanford Prison Experiment and the implications that study has had on ethics in psychological research. The psychologist who ran the experiment, Dr. Phil Zimbardo, will be offering himself up to the Reddit community tomorrow through  IAmA, June 7th, to answer any questions the community can come up with. Final Psi Chi Meeting Tonight

Psi Chi is having its last meeting of the semester tonight in Lewis Hall 119 at 7:00 p.m. To celebrate, there will be pizza and snacks (everybody is free to bring something if they would like).  We will also announce the election winners tonight!  Hope to see everyone there!

National Eating Disorder Awareness Week

National Eating Disorder Awareness Week (Feb 27th-Mar 2nd) is coming up and Saintleo will have numerous campus wide initiatives including health screenings with the Counseling Center as well as body image-friendly events sponsored by fellow student organizations. There will be a speaker event on Tuesday, February 28th at 7pm in the SCC Boardrooms where the clinical director of Fairwinds Treatment Center as well as a nutritionist from their staff will be speaking to students, faculty, and staff about eating disorder awareness and prevention.
