Psychology faculty, Gloria Howell and Dr. Tammy Zacchilli recently presented at the Department of Defense Worldwide Education Symposium in Las Vegas. This is the most-attended conference focused on military education with over 2,600 attendees from the military, civilian and contract personnel, and officials from over 250 colleges, universities, as well as educational organizations and industries that support higher education. Saint Leo Psych Department in the News ~ Congrats Dr. Z & Gloria!
Saint Leo’s own Gloria Howell and Dr. Tammy Zacchilli presented a workshop, “Improving Online Courses by Improving Connection with Students”, at the 34th annual meeting of the National Institute on the Teaching of Psychology (NITOP). NITOP is held every year in January at the Tradewinds Island Grand on St. Pete Beach. The workshop was well attended and Dr. Zacchilli and Ms. Howell hope to be invited back next year. They will also be presenting at the Department of Defense Worldwide Education Symposium in Las Vegas this summer!
